Time flies, next year will be the 2008(It will be the 2008 next year). The Olympic Games will be hold in Beijing. All the people in China are very excited to welcome that time. So let us give a helping hand as a volunteer together.
First, we should help the people who are in trouble. I know, it is difficult to help others all the time, but if you insist in that, you will be very happy. If you have much free time, you should take an active part in activities, such as looking after the babies in orphanages, visiting the old people and organizing the people to line up and etc. You can do these to support Olympics. If you don’t have time to do these, you can just do some small things in your life. You can throw the rubbish into the dustbin, be polite to the elder, tell the way to the person who is lost. If you can do these small things well, you will be an eligible volunteer, too. Last but not least, we should put our heart into English. Because in 2008, there will be a lot of foreigners in Beijing. If we learn English well, we will be able to talk with the foreigners better. If we can talk with the foreigners, we will be able to introduce China to them better. If we can introduce China to them in English, how proud we will be!

The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing. What an exciting thing! So what can we do for the 2008 Olympic Games? I think the best way is to be a volunteer of the Olympic Games.
“One world, One dream” is the topic slogan of the Olympic Games. In modern society , the most popular language is English. So we should learn English well so that we can communicate with foreigners better. And then we can exercise more to keep in good health. I don't think as a volunteer you have to subscribe to charities or other region. I think,we should to try our best to help the Olympic Games. In fact, it’s our duty to give a helping hand to it.
Everyone knows the “Nest” is building now. Although, we can’t do something for the nest, we can keep the environment. You can imagine in 2008 Olympic Games there’re a lot of tourists come to Beijing, but the environment there is terrible, there are a lot of rubbish in the streets and more than 30%people are smoking, what will they think about?
Lots of people say in 2008 we must show our best to foreigners. I think it’s right. But we don’t have to hide our defects because today. Is an open world, so we have to find our defects to improve ourselves, then we can do better.
To be a volunteer of the 2008 Olympic Games is very helpful to the Olympic. So let’s give a helping hand to 2008,then the Olympic will be higher, swifter and stronger.
