世界大学生运动会是世界性综合运动会,它由三大赛事组成,即“世界大学生夏季运动会”、“世界大学生冬季运动会”和“世界大学生体育锦标赛”.
今年1月17日,深圳获得2011年第26届世界大学生运动会主办权.
World University Games,known as "Little Olympics," is organised by International University Sports Federation;(French:Federation Internationale du Sport Universitaire).It is for college students and graduates of not more than two years College students (age limit is 17-28 years old) to participate It is one of the world's largest multi-sports games.First launched in 1959,It was called the International Student Games.As of March 2009,the WorldUniversity Games have been held 25 sessions.
World University Games is of International comprehensive sports event,which consists of three events,namely,the "World University Summer Games,""World University Winter Games" and "World University Sports Championship."
January 17 this year,Shenzhen,win the bid and to be the host city of 26th World University Games,2011.
