这是see,watch,feel,notice,smell一类的感官动词的特殊用法
这一类词的基本用法是（就用see来说）
1.see sb.doing sth.看见某人正在做某事,强调某人正在进行的事
如I saw you doing homework at school just now.
2.see sb.do sth.看见某人做某事,强调看见事情的一般性
如I used to see you do homework at school
感官动词的用法特点就在于以上两点,无论句子时态是什么,根据时态改变形式的只有感官动词,后面所跟的词形式只有以上两种
如果你的领悟力强的话,其实这个句子可以分细了讲（选看吧）
一个句子只能有一个谓语动词,所以这里的see肯定是充当谓语没错,所以playing理所当然就是个非谓语,既然是非谓语就不会受时态影响,并且playing后面的东西在这里做children的宾语补足语,相当于一个名词性的成分,故用它的动名词形式
