forget to do 就是忘记做某事 ,to do 所表达的动作没有又发生.
如：She forgot to call me.她忘记给我打电话了.
（没有打电话）
forget doing 就是忘记做过某事,某事本来已经做过了,可是后来忘记了.
如：She forgot calling me,so she called me again.她忘记了曾给我打电话了,所以又打了一回.
（calling所表示的动作发生过了）
