2008北京奥运会后,下届是2012伦敦奥运会.突然想起一个问题,众所周知,在2000年之前,英语年份的发音是将四位数字拆成两部分,如1998,发音为nineteen ninety-eight,然而到了2000年则变化了,成为two thousand,而2008年则读为two thousand eight.
但是由于年份还没有进行201*年,不知道届时读音还有什么变化.在VOA special english的节目中,1066被读作ten sixty-six.
不知道2012年是应该读作two thousand twelve呢,还是回归本来读法,读做twenty twelve?
然而这么多答案，莫衷一是，且没有出处，小弟也不知道该选什么好了。可否提供出处，至少要有文字对照才好啊，最好能有声音文件予以对照。thanks a lot!
另：有的朋友指出应该读two thousand and eight。这里小弟想说明一下，在我们中国的学校里，英语计数的标准读法应该是这样的，但小弟最近一直在听VOA，美国人很少读出and，换句话说，and加上是对的，但经常予以省略。因此小弟更倾向于去掉and。

怎么说都行,two thousand and twelve/twenty twelve,都一样的.就像外国人读数字,不指年份,比如1900,他们也会读成nineteen hundreds...你要找出处...那太难了...这种口语化的东西哪有明文规定的...
外国人说英语的时候,尤其是母语是英语的说话会吞音,能表达意思就OK了不用说那么明白...所以往往听不到and...
