但是，就算这样修改了句中的语法错误，这个句子仍然不太好。因为，第一，句尾的it指代不明确，除非你在前一句非常清晰的指出，it到底是什么。在it有明确指代的情况下，你就相当于写了2个句子--一个是你的观点，一个是上述的这句话--这样岂不是太啰嗦了？完全可以用一个非限从句概括你这句话；第二，如果你用的是两句话，用that can be accountable for it--不如直接说that account for it--注意写作时尽量多用主动语态，少用被动语态；多用动词，少用形容词；第三，stated as follows没有实际意义（“我认为xxx怎么样，有三个原因，1.2.3”多说一句，“有3个原因，接下来我会讲到”岂不是啰嗦）可以直接去掉---但是，考虑到 “there are”这个结构也要尽量少用（不出彩，可以用，但是用得太多作文的水平就上不去）可以说Stated as follows are three reasons that account for xxxxxx.第四，已经提到，控制there be 句型的使用，如果实在想用，先看能不能用stand, exist等动词替代be动词。
所以，这句话可以直接写成：I think xxxxx, and there are three reasons that account for it. 或者Stated as follows are three reasons that account for xxxxxx. 当然还有其他可能的写法，在这里不一一列举。
