这应该是大学作文吧.
Since the day China began opening its gate to the outside world, changes were brought to every corner of Chinese society. Today China has become a fast developing member to the world. Meanwhile college education is not just about reading books anymore. It is now quite necessary for the university students to get to know the world outside the campus.
In order to know more about the society, there are lots of ways we can apply. Generally speaking most people receive the information through public media,such as TV, radio,news paper and Internet. Considering college students are playing as special group in the community, social service is widely accepted as another way to better know our community for the students, which is more realistic for them to real experience the outside world on their own.
As a college student of myself, I need to recognize the significance of social service and take part in as many services as I can to improve social understanding so that we can do more to the community in future.
