1.形容词glad放在am后面做表语,感叹句时提前,副词gladly不能做表语；
2.副词well修饰动词短语get on做状语；
3.固定短语in order to do sth,意思是“为了...”；
4.固定短语not only...but also...,意思是“不仅/不但...,而且...”；
5.动作截止到现在为止,用现在完成时：have done sth,而had done sth为过去完成时；
6.表示程度用much,而many修饰可数名词复数；
7.固定句型：Why not do sth?,意思是“为什么不...”,why not后面加不带to的不定式即动词原形；
8.family表示“家庭/家人”时为整体概念,一般只用单数形式,除非是指“不止一个的家庭”；
9.固定短语look forward to doing sth,意思是“渴望/盼望做某事”,to为介词,其后加名词或动名词形式；
10.phone sb = call sb,意思是“给某人打电话”,其中的phone为及物动词,直接加宾语us即可；
11.特指双方都知道的“车站”,则名词station前面加上定冠词the
