When man took his first step on this world it was a flurishing,beatifully coloured,everlasting landscape of grass,rivers and in abundance of wild life.Now look at it.Man has expanded,explored,conquered and developed over thousands of years and our planet is paying the price.Forests are being stripped down,fields are being covered with cement and plants and animals of various kinds are becoming increasingly sparse,sometimes even extinct.
It is a sad fact that the human race can be so closely compared to by a virus.By definition,what does a virus do?It occupies a new host,spreads and develops until it one day covers the entire body.Depending on how serious that virus is,it may be the end of it's host.So the question is,will man do the same to Earth?
So far we are mimicing the actions of a virus extremely close but there are a few people out there,small in number but strong in mind,that can see the future and have realised they have to act now in order to prevent the inevitable.Some call them "cultivators of the Earth," some call them "green-lovers," but no matter what you call them,their mission is clear:to restore Mother Nature's pride.
These are the people that fight businesses when forests are being stripped down for fire wood and building material,these are the people who protest against the killing of some of the more fragile species on this planet,and these are the people who will save the Earth itself from total destruction by the hands of man.
In my personal opinion,these cultivators of the earth are inded the most valuable citizens as they see the big picture.They realise that if man continues down the path we are currently following,we will destroy our home - sooner than most people are willing or able to realise.
The Green House effect is becoming increasingly dangerous yet little is being down to prevent it.The entire Earth is rising in temperature,the polar ice-caps are evidently melting at a rate that is extrememly dangerous and people still continue to throw non-biodegradable rubbish on the floor,waste paper,consume enormous amounts of electricity and drain as much power out the system as possible.
Bottom line is,if we don't get more of these cultivators voicing their opinions,if they were to give up or simply stop their great work,we will be on a steep curve down to extinction ourselves.
