3.同样,固定搭配 sb(John) be disappointed at doing sth“某人对...感到失望”,做非谓语时只需要去掉be动词,所以答案为disappointed.
同理,此disppointed为形容词,不是表示被动的过去分词.
4.楼主对主动被动不要太在意了,虽然那是判断用Ving或Vpp的重要依据.
hide可作及物不及物动词均可,所以用现在分词还是过去分词有时候难以判断.但是你要明白：用现在分词一般表示进行的动作,而过去分词一般表示延续的状态.
第一空用现在分词表示“正藏在...”不妥,句意翻译起来不通顺,类似的题目一般是表示状态的；
第二空是考察定语的,armed做定语时意思是“武装的”.
5.最后提醒楼主记住一个重要的语法规律：如果是be动词构成的动词短语做非谓语时,只需要去掉be动词即可了,而不能去考虑所谓主动被动.
如：Interested in English,he decided to study abroad in America.
sb(he) be interested in sth,所以用interested.
