如题,如果I found many children there,most of them were boys.这就是两个主谓宾完整的句子,是错误的.
所以为了使句子成立,又不破坏英语的规则,so 用being带替were
这是非谓语动词语法那块的分词做独立主格结构用法.

要用were的话 我觉得要改成most of whom 这样有了连词链接前后的句子 或者 在第二句开头那+and ，否则句子就不对了
