信用卡作为新兴的金融电子货币,在国外的发展已相当成熟,并发展成为一种重要的消费支付结算工具,也被公认为近一百多年来对人类生活最具影响力的十大产品之一.反观国内,信用卡在从成长走向成熟阶段的发展时期,地区发展水平极不平衡、运营管理机制僵化、市场定位和客户细分缺失、以及市场营销中的“短板”问题也日益显现.本文以贵州遵义市为市场背景,通过对遵义信用卡市场的现状分析,提出如下发展对策：在买方市场环境下,发卡银行要强化对自身产品性能的升级优化获得更大的比较优势,对于同质性极强的信用卡产品,更要突出营销中的策略创新和有效应用,建立互利共赢的银商合作模式,营造良好收单环境.
