Smoking is a habit that has many disadvantages.Beside the impact smoking has on health,it has an impact on your wallet and your social life.Smoking can lead to lung cancer and chronic lung problems.The expense of smoking is going up every year and the cost to the individual smoking is significant.There is also a cost to our health care system.Smoking leaves an odor on the clothes of the person who is smoking and on persons close by.Smoking can stain the teeth which can result in an unsightly smile.In addition,smoking can cause bad breath which is a huge social disadvantage.Secondhand smoke is dangerous to other persons,therefore,smoking is not allowed in many public places.Addiction to nicotine is another disadvantage.Once you are addicted,it is difficult to quit and it may take several tries.
