“小狗”储蓄罐真的使我改掉了吃零食的坏习惯。记得有一天，天气很热，街上买棒冰的人敲着棒冰箱，邻居的小孩都飞快地跑过去买棒冰。他们吃得津津有味，我嘴馋了，能吃一根该多好呀！可是爸爸妈妈不在家，我身边又没有钱，我不由自主地走到桌前，拿起桌上的“小狗”储蓄罐，倒过来拼命摇，想摇出一个五角硬币。可摇了半天，一分也没摇出来。我生气地骂：“小狗，小狗，你真是个小气鬼！”但是“小狗”一点也不生气，仍调皮地看着我，好像在提醒我：“小主人，你可别忘了自己跟爸爸说过的话呀！”我脸红了，小心翼翼地把“小狗”轻轻地放回桌上，捧起冷水壶“咕咚，咕咚”地喝了几口。
“小狗”既帮我存钱，也提醒我把钱用在合适的地方。一次，我们学校开展“献爱心”活动。全校同学把自己的零花钱都捐给了失学儿童，让他们重返校园。放学以后，我回到家里，抱起储蓄罐，把钱倒出来，一个个的硬币从“小狗”的“嘴巴”里飞快地吐出来。这时，我又发现“小狗”正在喜悦地笑着。
现在我的“小狗”储蓄罐沉甸甸啦！储蓄罐，它时时刻刻提醒我做一个勤俭节约的好孩子。
