When new product is introduced the Bill of Material is established starting by PE to contact the associated departments for arranging production, to judge whether the LEAD TIME of the production links is smoothly matching with the marketing sales. BOM usually exhibits in a hierarchical manner (Level-by-Level) , and the final product is defined as Level 0 (Level 0), while the composition structure is defined as Level 1, the the sub-structure of the compostion structure is defined as Level 2, and the successive sub-structure is defined as Level 3, and so on, until extending to the basic parts or raw materials. BOM is used to describe the product structure, and of which raw materials or semi-finished products a product is made, as well as the mutual combination process.
